General Information

Projects can be placed on hold by editing the Project Control screen and changing the Status to one that is marked as a hold status.

To create or change a Project Status to a Hold, you need to change the Project Status (PROJSTATUS) Rule.

Logic

When a Project is placed on hold, all incomplete tasks linked to that project are also placed on hold.

Any tasks created (via a route) after the project is placed on hold will also be placed on hold.

Tasks that are on hold have an '(H)' in front of them in the Project Control screen and the Task Grid.

When the Project Status is changed to a non-hold status, all tasks will be taken off hold.

Tasks on Hold

Tasks that are on hold can be scheduled and assigned, and also completed.

However, nobody can post time or material to a task that is on hold.
