Function This rule allows users to define Held For records for the Inventory Management System. For users that do not need multiple inventory holders, a common setup is to establish a single holder record named 'DEF' or named to match the CID Organization. The Item Master Held For list in the OHF tab, as well as several Inventory reports are populated from entries in this rule.

Rule Setup – Text Fields
Name: Enter the Inventory Holder name to display in the Item Master OHF Held For drop-down list. An organization record must exist with an organization number that matches the value in the name field. For example, if the holder name is 'DEF', an organization record must exist for 'DEF'.

Rule Setup – Number Fields
There are no number fields in use Rule Setup – Logic Fields
Default: Check this box to set the record as the default Held For record throughout the Inventory Management system.
Active: Check the box to make the record available in the Inventory Management system. Uncheck the box to remove the record from the list of available Held For records.
