General Information
Prompt 72, Item Swap, provides the ability to change the item ID of stock items to a preset stock through the terminal control scanners.
Prompt Walk-through
1) Scan item tag you would like to convert
2) Type in the quantity to move, stock units on the
Item Master must match in order to move inventory between items
3) Enter Y/N; Prompt will ask for confirmation with- Do you want to convert?
If the swap is valid, it will make a xferh record, and two itemact and two itemtran records. If not valid, it will tell the user why
Vterm and Termcontrol programs both match this format.
Rule Maintenance Set up¶
- The rule SCRAPITEM must be added and filled out. The item listed here will be on the receiving end of all conversions. (i.e. scrap item, waste item)
- Text 1 contains item ID of receiving item.
