General Info
Prompt 18, Change Printer, provides a way to switch to a new label printer.
When prompted to enter a new printer name, you must enter the printer's Short Name in Adjutant.
Adjutant Printer Info
Each networked label printer must be setup in the
Printer Control screen of Adjutant.
Maintain >> System >> Printers.
The Short Name must be a number.
The UNC Name is the name of the printer as it is listed on the network (\\domain_name\printer_name). Due to Windows printer naming issues, this name could change per workstation.
The Type is Inv Label.
The UNC Name for any printer that is connected directly to a terminal must be LOCAL. The Baud Rate, Bits, and Parity must all match between the terminal and the printer.
