HOW TO - Create a Service Order

Default Menu Location

Transaction >> Task Management >> Task Entry - New

Task Entry Screen

Task Entry screen is also accessible from Adjutant Toolbar.

Procedures

  • Click the New button on the top right hand corner of the Task Entry screen

  • Fill out the "Client", "Bill To", and "Location" fields on the screen

  • Choose a Type and Task

  • Create a Work Order by clicking the button next to the WO# field

  • Contact, Asset ID, Project, Phase, Priority, Category, and Zone fields need to completed

  • Save the Entry

  • Click on the New button below the Status tab

  • Fill out the Skill Set, BillCode fields

  • The other fields such as, Duration, Date, Time, Constraint, and Resource fields need to be filled out on the screen as well.
