The Material tab is used to add items/materials that were used while working on the task.

Click New to add an item.

Owner: Enter the owner of the item.

HeldFor: Enter the organization the item is held for.

Whse: Enter the warehouse the item was taken from.

Item: Enter the item's code. Items are created in the Inventory Item Master.

Desc: The item's description. This will be automatically populated if the item's code is entered.

Trans Date: Enter the date the item was used.

Unit: Select the unit of measure for the quantity used.

Qty: Enter the quantity of items used.

Cost: The cost of the item.

Price: The (selling) price of the item.

Lock: Check this box if you want the price to be locked in. This keeps any contract or system pricing programs from changing the price.

PO#: This field will only be populated if the item is linked from a purchase order.

Serial #: The item's serial number, if applicable. This only applies to item marked as serialized. You must enter a serial number when entering a serialized item.

Special Security

S23: If enabled, user cannot edit the Unit field of Material lines.
