General Description

Default Menu Location Transaction >> Task Management >> Service Order Update Tool

Function The Service Order Update Tool is used to update and reassign previously entered service orders. Changes can be made to project, phase, and contract.

Service orders can be edited within the grid by simply clicking on the individual cell.

Cells within the Project, Phase, and Contract ID columns may be edited by selecting from a drop-down menu.

Service Orders with invalid or blank contracts will appear in red.

right-clicking on the Service Order # will __display a menu__.

After updating the service orders, click the Update button to save the changes.

Click the Print button to for a report of the results in the grid.

Fields/Filters

  • Sold To: Enter the Customer ID or Name
  • Start Date: Start of the date range you wish to view
  • End Date: End of the date range you wish to view (You must enter valid date range.)
  • TaskComp: To exclude service orders that have NOT been completed
  • Locked: To exclude service orders that have NOT been locked
  • Not Billed: To exclude service orders that have NOT been billed
  • Exclude Projects: To exclude service orders that are assigned a project
  • Exclude Phases: To exclude service orders that are assigned a phase
  • Exclude Contracts: To exclude service orders that are assigned a contract
  • Invalid Only: To exclude service orders that have a valid contract
