General Info

Adjutant allows users to use rounded vendor pricing based on configurable length items to increment vendor costs to the nearest length while still retaining the original length. Along with the set up below, the price per foot can be set on the C/V Part tab.

Vendor Cost Set Up

A new item will need to be created in Item Master to set the rounding increment on the items. The item should be marked as MISC and named something that clearly describes it a rounding control item.

Once set up, this new item will need to be filled in as the "Based on Item" in the Length configuration question for all items subject to the rounding configuration. This is done in the Item Configurator Setup.

The last step is to set up a contract in the Contract Master for the vendor(s) needed. The contract can be quite simple, set to active and default. The Material Pricing tab will only need the ROUNDITEM (established in the first step) set up with an increment set to the pricing increment needed.
