Create Shortcuts using the Toolbar

STEP 1:
Open the screen you want to create a shortcut to.
STEP 2:
Click the
Shortcut icon in the
Toolbar.
STEP 3:
Choose an icon (if you want one) and then click the Add to Desktop button.
STEP 4:
Click just outside of the new button and drag it to where you want it on your desktop.
Copy Shortcuts from one User to another User

STEP 1:
Click the
People
icon located in the Adjutant Toolbar.
STEP 2:
Click the
User in Adjutant
attribute in the Attributes window.
STEP 3:
Go to the
Desktop Shortcuts
tab.
STEP 4:
Enter the Username (the User ID, not the person's name) in the Copy From field and click the Copy button.
There's no need to click EDIT or SAVE when using this method. The shortucts, their captions, and icons are all copied to the user when you click the Copy button.
Create Shortcuts from the Users screen

STEP 1:
Click the
People
icon located in the Adjutant Toolbar.
STEP 2:
Click the
User in Adjutant
attribute in the Attributes window.
STEP 3:
Go to the
Desktop Shortcuts
tab.
STEP 4:
Click
Edit
.
STEP 5:
Check the box for the icon you wish to display on your desktop and enter an icon name if you want to.
STEP 6:
Click
Save
.
STEP 7:
Repeat steps 4, 5, and 6 to add more desktop shortcuts.
STEP 8:
After you have finished adding your desktop shortcuts, log out of Adjutant and then log back in. Your new desktop shortcuts will appear on the upper left part of your screen. Click and drag them anywhere on your Adjutant desktop for easy access.
Delete Shortcuts
¶
Right click just outside of the shortcut button. You will be prompted to confirm the delete; click Yes to delete it.
Move Shortcuts
¶
To move a shortcut, left click and hold right outside the shortcut logo and drag to desired location.
Unable to Match Form Name Message
¶
If you receive the Unable to Match Form Name message, the system is unable to match a Menu Prompt with the current screen. You can correct this issue by modifying the menu prompt in the Menu Prompts screen, or by calling/emailing ABIS directly to fix it for you at no charge.
