General Information

The Work Order Updater is used to update multiple service orders of the same nature that have been generated under the same work order number.

This screen can update the labor (time), material, equipment, and assets on a work order. In addition, it can also complete, lock, or void a work order.

Time

This tab is used to add the resource's time that was spent on the work order.

Enter the Work Order # and press enter to begin. Select the service orders you are updating by selecting them in the grid. If you are updating all of the service orders, click the A button to select them all.

ResNo: Resource ID.

Resource: Resource name.

Total Hours: The total time needed to complete the work order.

Solution Code: The Solution Code used (if any) to complete this work order.

Bill Code: The Billing Code used for this resource's time.

EquipID: The resource's truck ID.

Date: The date the resource completed the work.

Check the Task Complete box if the work order has been completed. Enter the name of the person who completed the work order in the field below the box.

Check the Lock box if you wish to lock all service orders.

Select the Inspection Status if you are updating an inspection work order.

Click Update to add time to the selected service orders OR move to the Material and Serial Number tabs if necessary.

Material

This tab is used to add any material that was used on the service orders selected in the previous screen.

Owner: The owner of the materials.

Whse: The warehouse the materials came out of.

Part #: The material's item number.

Total Qty: The total quantity used.

Unit Cost: The cost per unit. Automatically assigned.

Click Save to add the material to the service orders.

Click Input Serial/Lot Numbers to move to the next tab and enter serial numbers (if necessary).

Serial Numbers

Use this tab to verify the serial numbers added. You may enter the serial numbers inside the grid in the Serial column.

Click Copy to Add Serial to copy the serial numbers over to the Add Serial # column in the Time tab.

After verifying, move back to the Time tab and click Update.
