General Information

Default Menu Location: Transaction >> Shipping >> Load Shipping Event

Screen Name: SEADD2

Function: Load Items into Cartons and ship them.

Fields

Shipping Event: The number of the shipping event that is being loaded.

Sales Order: This is a filter to show only items from a specific sales order if more than one sales order are linked to the same shipping event.

Current Carton: The selected carton.

Lock: This will lock the current carton. If a carton is locked, items cannot be added to it. Click this again to unlock a carton.

Ship: This will ship the current top level carton.

N>: The name of the current carton.

L>: The location of the current carton.

T>: The tracking number of the current carton.

C>: The carrier of the current carton.

Add: This will prompt a small popup screen to add a carton.

Edit: This will allow editing of the selected carton.

Save: This will saved the edited changes.

Cart>SE: This will transfer the selected carton to a different designated shipping event.

































To load, you must first create a carton by clicking on Add, type in the location, name of the carton, and select the Type. Enter the dimensions if desired (not required), Save. Keep in mind that smaller cartons are needed as well as a truck, which is a separate carton. To load each carton, click on the carton you wish to load, then click on each item you wish to assign to that particular carton. Once the smaller cartons are loaded, you will then assign those cartons to the truck carton. (Note: If it's a large item that will be loaded straight onto the truck, just assign it to the truck carton.) Check the printer buttons to print Pre-Load (picking list) and Post-Load (packing list) reports.
