General Information

Default Menu Location: Maintain>> System>> Security Tokens

Screen Name: TOKEMAINT

Function: View all security tokens that control the set up of a users security privileges. Security tokens can be as precise as an individual button or function or as large as controlling an entire screen or set of reports.

Fields/ Filters

Token/Option: This Radio button toggles between security tokens and system options for a user.

Token: The name of the security token.

Token Group: When creating security profiles in the Bulk Security Update screen the group pulls in all screens that are found within a module or user role.

Type: Defines which application the token applies too; Desktop, Web, or Wireless warehouse scanners.

S1Txt: Additional security levels for a screen or options within a screen. Usually includes; view, add, edit, delete, etc.

Imp: The Token Import skips the match up screen that most import processes will see, the file for importing will need to consist of Token, Descrip, and Group. Then the importer is a delete and add keying off of token, meaning you can add new security tokens to the list if they are not there already and if one exists in your import file that is already a token it will get deleted out and added back with the new information.

Click the Show Screens button to view all screens the selected security token applies to.
