General Info

Prompt 46, Production WO, provides five functions:

1. Assign Inventory to a Production Line Item

2. Assemble a Production Line Item

3. Complete an entire work order with one question

4. Certify a Production Line Item

5. Complete a Production Work Order

Assign Inventory to a Production Line Item

This function allows you to scan the barcode of the input item, then scan the individual line on the PWO that the input item will make.

Once a successful scan of an item is completed, the terminal will display the quantity required of that item. Pressing Enter will plug in the quantity required as the quantity used. A User can enter the quantity that was used by manually typing in the amount (always in Stock Unit) and press Enter. The terminal will accept your entry and ask you to scan the next barcode.

Assemble a Production Line Item

The Assemble function allows you to fully assemble and complete a production line item.

To assemble a line, scan the barcode of the line item and enter a plus sign "+" and press Enter. The terminal will assemble the line item and ask you to scan the next line item.

Certify a Production Line Item

The Certify function allows you to certify that the all items in the Bill of Materials for a Production Line Item have been assigned.

To certify a line, scan the barcode of the line item and enter an asterisk * and press Enter. The terminal will tell you the certification status.

Complete a Production Work Order

Other Commands

Enter a forward slash / and press Enter to go back one step at any time.

Enter two forward slahses "//" and press Enter to go back to the menu.
