General Information
Default Menu Location Reports >> General Ledger >> General Ledger
Screen Name GLGENLEDGER
Function This screen will produce a report that shows activity in the General Ledger within the specified ranges.
How To Run the Report
Enter in the Start and End periods
Enter in the Start and End GL Acct ranges
Select either Detailed or Summary view
Apply desired filters.
Data Fields & Buttons
Start Period - The period the report will start from
End Period - The period the report will end on
Start GL Acct - The GL account that the report will start on
End GL Acct - The GL account that the report will stop on
Detailed - If this is selected, the report will give details regarding document number for each transaction for each account in the range
Summary - If this is selected, the report will give a summary of each account in the range
Exclude Zero Activity Accounts - If selected, this will filter out the accounts in the range where no activity occurred
Sort by Docno - If selected, the report will sort the GL entries by Document Number per account
Use GroupKeys -
Drilldown View - This will add clickable links to the report that will give more detail when clicked
Tips and Tricks¶
You can click
SaveRS to save your options and run the report later
